What made you contact Movement Enhanced?

My main reason for contacting Movement Enhanced was Rugby League. Having played sport my entire life and now for the Australian Defence Force, I knew that if I wanted to continue to excel as an athlete then I really needed to commit to proper strength based training to separate myself from everyone else.  I knew all the basics about training but never had the proper knowledge and understanding to be able to see the results and performance that I was after.  For me to be the best version of myself, I knew that I had to be trained and coached by the best.

What was your training like before you started training with Movement Enhanced?

Prior to enlisting into the Australian Defence Force three and a half years ago I would do CrossFit six days a week as well as Muay Thai three to four times a week. However, since being in, my training has changed dramatically. For the past three years I have done a mixture of Muay Thai, CrossFit and gym sporadically. It is hard to create and follow a routine due to being on exercises for weeks to months at a time.  I am fortunate enough that my job involves PT two to three mornings a week as well as having the opportunity to compete for the Australian Defence Force Touch Football and Australian Defence Force Rugby League Teams.

What have you achieved since training with Movement Enhanced?

Since I started training at Movement Enhanced I have improved my physical and mental wellbeing.  Movement Enhanced has given me the confidence to step outside of my comfort zone and attempt different movements/weights that I didn’t know were possible.  Every week that I train at Movement Enhanced I am able to achieve training goals that I have set in place for myself because of the constant support and guidance available.

What do you like most about the training we do?

The individual tailored programing really sets the bench mark for why Movement Enhanced is the best facility I have trained at. Every single detail of your program has been planned to help you reach your goals and for you to be able to maximise the most of your time spent at Movement Enhanced. After long days spent at work or weeks out field it is such a relief to be able to come to Movement Enhanced and just train. All the thinking and planning is done for you so your sole focus can be on you and bettering yourself from the previous session.  Apart from the training, the atmosphere is like no other. It is absolutely electric when everyone is there supporting each other or when you are there taking part in one of the classes. Everyone is there with the same goal in mind and is there to get the job done.

What would you tell others about your experience at Movement Enhanced?

Movement Enhanced is the only training facility where I feel like I can be myself. The trainers are so supportive and will always put your best interests first. Apart from having incredibly talented coaches like Ben, every single member who trains at Movement Enhanced will always welcome you with a smile. It is always such a pleasure being able to train where there are no egos and everyone is there to put in the hard work. Training at Movement Enhanced is always the best part of my day and it is so humbling to be a part of such a hardworking and dedicated family.
